  24. After I upgraded from OS2.04 to OS3.1, I had to use the boot menu to change
  25. to NTSC to run Superbase Pro.  Strangely, it didn't care that I have my screen
  26. set up to PAL, as long as I set it to NTSC in the boot menu.  I tried
  27. different NTSC booting programs, but only the boot menu option worked.

  29. Since my mouse had turned a gross brown-green colour, and the wait clock was
  30. lime green, following advice I read on the newsgroups, I erased all the prefs
  31. defaults in my envarc:sys directory, and saved new ones using the 3.1 prefs.
  32. This solved my palette problem, but now SB Pro refuses to accept boot menu's
  33. NTSC selection.

  35. Right now, as a work around, I boot of a copy of Workbench 2.0, and it works
  36. find, but it is a pain.

  38. I know that there is a jumper on the A500's controlling whether the system
  39. boots in NTSC or PAL, and I am hoping that there is a similar jumper on the
  40. A500+, and that this will solve my problem.  If somebody has any other
  41. suggestions, I welcome them.
